The Yale Babysitting and Tutoring site acts only as a clearinghouse for the convenience of babysitters and tutors. Yale University does not screen babysitters or tutors; Yale University only requires that babysitters and tutors be current Yale students. Babysitters and tutors  are employed solely by the clients and are not employees of Yale University. Yale University makes no representations to the client as to the qualifications of the babysitters and tutors. Yale University makes no representations to the babysitters and tutors as to the nature of the clients other than that the clients are current Yale faculty, staff, or students. In addition, Yale University makes no representations to babysitters and tutors or clients concerning the nature of the services provided.  Babysitters and tutors are strongly urged to restrict their services to a single family, and babysitters and clients should discuss any exposures to COVID-19 that they may have had.  Clients and babysitters acknowledge that Yale University is not responsible for, and will be held harmless against, any illness, injury, loss, or other damage arising from or related in any manner to the clients’ or babysitters’ or tutors’ use of the Yale Babysitting and Tutoring Service.
